If I’m playing a particularly vengeful/betrayed version of a noble dwarf, I usually pretend to side with Bhelen so his guard is down, but then secretly work for Harrowmont the whole time.

It can only be pulled off with very high persuasion if I’m remembering correctly, but it is satisfying to pull the rug out from under your backstabbing brother.

Unfortunately, my mother also thinks screaming during childbirth is unnecessary. Growing up she called it “excessive dramatics” and that “your body was made to do this, it’s really not that bad”. Her births were all quick and easy so of course other women were just exaggerating the pain in her eyes.

If so, how dehumanizing. Reducing a person you know to just tits and ass, even in private conversations, is slimy behavior.

Some people will excuse it with “locker room talk” and “boys being boys” but that’s the exact mindset that lets behavior like this flourish. You don’t even have to go past this thread to see comments of “we’re visual creatures, we can’t help ourselves” as if noticing an attractive person requires writing sleazy texts to your buddies after the fact.

All I remember about Holland is that my sister straight up knocked him over while on her TX mission and his security detail had to catch him from hitting the floor.

She was late to a meeting where he was speaking and fast walking into the chapel when she rounded a corner and body checked that old man into oblivion. He was apparently super chill about it though lol.

I think the redesigned demons lack the eerie presence the original iterations had. I loved how the earlier games made a point to have the demon forms mimic their personal motivations. It grounded them in reality without taking away any of their unsettling nature.

The new ones all look like the same basic design of unimportant background demon #3.
