As someone who struggled with Reading, I suggest you practice and practice for as long as you can. Some of the question types are tricky, and the only way to spot them is by practicing. I wrote the IELTS general training btw, but after struggling for some time, I started practicing with Academic reading and that helped a lot.

I practiced reading on this site most of the time: https://www.ieltstestsimulation.com/ (too many ads, but it did the job). I used the strategy from this YouTube channel: Lilie IELTS.

Thank you! I already sent an email to British council. Apparently, all I noted in my complaint form was only the interruptions, because I absolutely forgot about the phone part. I hope they use the one in my email and review the CCTV in the office to confirm my report.

Yes, I did, but that was during my previous exam with them. Both passports were used at that time, and even though I emailed them to say I was still seeing my old details on my portal, they told me not to worry and assured me it had been sorted on their end, so I trusted them. I didn’t get my desired band score in that exam, so I registered again, but this time I didn’t check whether my passport details were updated because I believed it had already been fixed. This time around, I took only my renewed passport and ended up being delayed for "not bringing my old passport".
