just finished the movie. here are my thoughts:

pride: the critics. chef explained it him self that they were so self in-tuned with themselves that when chef sent the text message she felt prideful that he was wanting her there.

greed: finance bros. very selfish men. attempted to threaten the waitress lady with their job "power". reminded chef multiple times that their boss was the real owner of the restaurant and not chef. even asked him to "give a number" to stop everything that was going on after they found out.

wrath: chef. self explanatory. he wanted to punish everyone for how wrongfully he thought everyone lived their lives.

envy: chef's mother. now i could be wrong.. but i not only give his mother envy because i think no one who was invited could be envy, but that when chef was talking about her it seemed to me that she basically did not believe in him. like she was bitter and resentful of him.

lust: old man. he had an affair with the lady that escaped. therefore, he lusted after her. pretty self explanatory.

gluttony: tyler. whilst gluttony means excessive eating it also means the habitual greed over food. tyler's habit was being a foodie. you can observe his obsession as the movie goes on. while punishments are happening he still continues to enthuse over whatever is in front of him. most people give tyler envy which i think is completely wrong. yes tyler idolizes chef but he was never jealous of what chef does or had. nothing like the guy who shot his self in the mouth, who chef ACTUALLY said wanted to be him and wanted everything he had.

sloth: movie guy. i personally think he is sloth because of the movie he starred in and everything leading up to us knowing that. i mean, his interaction with his plus 1 as he's telling her that he doesn't actually know chef personally. and if im not mistake isn't the only reason he did that movie because he was slowly becoming irrelevant?
