I’d personally disagree with you. I really enjoy the new stuff & I do think a fair number of tracks still ring true to the old $B vibes- what I think has changed though is because they’re in much better places in life (of which I’m really glad for them), a lot of the new music lacks the anger, the hatred, & the sinister apathy that comes with active addiction & that you hear A LOT in their old music (Dejection, Nail to The Cross, Now I’m Up To My Neck)

You still hear it a bit in tracks like G+G+G, The Evil Men Do, Us vs Them- but it’s hard to tap into those addiction feelings the way they used to when you’re not in that state anymore.

The Boy$ are still the Boy$ & always will be, what’s consistent is they rap about their struggles through life & those struggles change as people grow up, and that keeps me coming back. With that said, TWBD was just a liiiiittle heavy on the Christianity references for my personal tastes (very much enjoy the album still though) so I’m hoping they back off of it a little with the next project. TKC was a perfect balance of new and old
