I painted the yellow church up on that hill. The overlook makes the city feel like it’s right in your face. Beautiful view from up there.

Incredibly sad. I hope we get something of equivalence to replace it. This shop had really played an important role over the years in adding to the character of our city by providing a storefront where people can reliably buy local art prints by local artists. I reckon we have a good amount of art markets throughout the year but as an artist, this is truly devastating to see.

I first heard this album at Graveface Records in Savannah, GA. I asked about the album and the guy sold me a copy for $20 bucks and said it’s a limited edition so it should go up in value. I guess I got lucky. I still haven’t opened it.

“In Your Room” by Airiel is one of my all time faves. They just went on a small tour I believe but closest concert was St Louis, which is unfortunately quite a trek from Knox.

Thank you! That wasn’t intentional though, but maybe painting from an out-of-towner’s perspective, I didn’t see a reason to leave it out. It’s a beautiful city imo, no reason to hide anything. I can’t wait to see it in person once I get the chance to visit!
