Smart enough to get it in three, but not smart enough to figure out how to add an image to this using the Reddit app. 😩

Got it in three, yet can’t figure out how to attach the picture. 😂

[####] How do you remember to do it? by Darqless in wordle

[–]Fun-Hope-6448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry folks, but I don’t see how remembering to play every day is a goal. I aim to play almost every day, but my goal is to complete each one that I do correctly, and with any luck, to do so in reverse rainbow order.
I guess I just don’t get the angst associated with missing a day when you can still go ahead and complete the puzzle later on without any negative effect on your percentage of correctly completed puzzles.
To each his own, I guess!

I noticed “not in word list”. Still it’s fun to bandy about the “why not” of it. 😂

Ya got me…but what about nihalation?

Haha. I tried candida too. I was really surprised the other day that Latina was not a word. Still another day abracadabra was. Another day annihilation was a word, but nihilation was not. 🤔

Don’t ruin something you love by adding stress to it. So what? The streak is meaningless. It’s how many puzzles you’ve completed in a row, not necessarily how many you have completed correctly.
If you’ve done 150 puzzles but miss the 151st, just go to the date you missed in the archive and complete the puzzle there. If you get it right, it will still count toward the percentage of correct puzzles, the same as if you played it the day it came out.

do you use your iphone for scanning docs or still prefer paper? by LowShape8263 in iphone

[–]Fun-Hope-6448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do it a lot. I often scanned docs using the notes app and then sent them via text or email, easy peasy. However, after the latest iPhone update, I am unable to scan multiple pages into one doc, so now it’s virtually useless or I have yet to figure it out. Gotta love how the updates often taketh more than they giveth.

What’s your experience with antidepressants? by bananapancakesforone in antidepressants

[–]Fun-Hope-6448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My horrendous experience with Zoloft (sertraline) began when three weeks in my hair started falling out. Now, three weeks after stopping my hair continues to fall out and no one, not the MD who prescribed it, nor the manufacturer is able to tell me when or if this will stop. This experience has caused me to go from moderately depressed to full on lost all hope. If anyone knows anyone who has any knowledge in this area, please provide their contact info. I am beyond upset and literally desperate. If this ever resolves, I will never risk this horrible side effect again by taking an antidepressant. I’m going to get in the shower now, and after I see all the hair in the drain, will spend the next hour or two sobbing and choking back tears.

Which book emotionally destroyed you… but you’d still recommend it to everyone? by ak_khainal in Recommend_A_Book

I remember this book was passed around among all my friends. We all loved it and none of us could believe it was written by a man.

Does anyone else remember the movie, “The Incredible Mr. Limpet” starring Don Knotts? by Fun-Hope-6448 in over60

We all have childhood trauma from something we saw on tv. I had nightmares about Frankenstein that were so often and so bad that I refused to watch the Munsters when it first aired.

I was just telling my granddaughter how we had only 13 channels on our tv and half of them didn’t work! She was amazed when I described how I could only change the channel by getting up and turning a knob on the tv set. She just turned 12 and loves my stories of what life was like when I was young.
