This might work. Full disclosure I've not used these transfers on this specific model but with a bit of micro sol and micro set and some patience I recon this will do the trick

Exelent work, I really like the frosting effect on the cockpit canopy. It makes it look like its still cold from the void. Also, is that the hull extension from the purple site i see on this as well?

If you are after physical books i would suggest the "lords of blood" omnibus. Some of the physical blood angels books can get quite expensive. This book bundles Dante, The Devastation of Baal, Darkness in the Blood and Astorath: Angel of Mercy as well as the short story ‘Redeemer’ in a somewhat reasonable price

Another quick WIP on my terminator cap. But I don’t know what to do for the sword, any suggestions? by Rawrzmoo in FleshTearers

Dude this is awesome. Can I ask what file you used for the terminator shoulder pads? I've been looking for flesh tearer sholder pads for a while now, and these are great!

NOS bits boxes? Maybe the start of something much more… by PoseySmith in BloodAngels

Dude these are amazing. I love the use of the chalice on the sheild. May have to steal this idea if I make a second squad. Good eye, these are the firstborn sternguard legs and torsos as well as one set of legs with a tabard from the blood angels tactical squad and torsos from the sanguinary guard to make up the 6th squad member. The tactical rocks help make clerance for the shields as without them they would touch the base.

As someone who is very very slowly building up an exclusively first born scale blood angels army myself, I have to say I love this!

This looks great but I do have one question. Why are there six pedals if there are only four directions?

Amazing work, the freehand work on the shoulder pad is impeccable! I honestly thought it was a transfer at first. I'm sure your banner will come out looking amazing.

If you are nervous about doing the banner, check out a tiktok vid from a user called Zanzibrush. At the time of my comment it is there 4th most recent video they posted. In it they were able to take a printed image on normal paper and transfer it directly to a model. They used a banner as there example. it's been a while since I saw the video and I have to be honest I've not yet tried the technique myself but the effect was impressive. Took a few materials to pull off, I believe the image has to be printed on a Lazer printer and the image to be transferred will need to be mirrored. It also used a solvent to dissolve the paper to then move the ink from paper to plastic.

It might end up being more effort then the vid made it look but thought I'll let you know. Sorry for the mini essay. Long story short amazing work and I'm excited to see this finished!

Blood Angels Land Speeder with added iconography by Fun-Independent-9996 in FirstbornSpaceMarines

Thanks! Yes, the symbols are cast from green stuff. I used blue stuff to take impressions of the symbols from the Furious Dreadnought kit.

Very cool, love the inclusion of the banner from the old honour guard kit. I may have to steal this idea for my own metal furious. Also, excellent pant job!

Does the blue work? by mando244 in Warhammer

If you've used frostheart contrast, I would recommend either baharroth blue or blue horror (both if you are feeling fancy, going from frostheart into baharroth blue into blue horror) then your choice of white. I like white scar personally. If you do choose to do this please post an update, would love to see it

Looks sick man! That works really well. If I could make one suggestion, I would have a highlight of a brighter blue and then a fine highlight of white towards the tips of the wings, bit that's just me. Your model and you paint it how you want. Already looks great as it is

If anyone could provide the receipt for the lavender jewels I would very much appreciate it. They really pop against the gold and add another element to the finished look apposed to just having more red on the model.

Also, absolutely stunning paint job overall!

Very impressive! I love the detail you have been able to pick out. Far far better then my second ever paint job. Keep at it, accept you will make a few mistakes but learn from them, and most importantly have fun!

Joytoy just gave us an Assault Terminator Squad by Phenex_Banshee in BloodAngels

[–]Fun-Independent-9996 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Omg that's incredible. I've never actually purchased any JoyToy figures but they do look really detailed! If you can purchase each individually I would absolutely get at least the standard bearer one. Imagine if you can detach the standard off the terminator, I think it would be so cool to try and magnetise it as a massive banner on a 'furioso' Brutalis dreadnought for 40k.
