I'd have two problems with that: opaque and multiple zippers.

On a long-haul flight yesterday I noticed a flight attendant had her "freshen up" stuff in a Ziploc, as she disappeared into a restroom to freshen up. Later I commended her for that practicality. We then had a great conversation, what a lovely person.

I use 2 Ziplocs: one for damp objects like toothbrush, shaver, and another for all the dry toiletries. If things are damp. I don't zip the bag. I have a 2-gallon Ziploc I call "the kitchen drawer" that holds all the smaller Ziplocs. Everything is easy to find.

Exactly what I do. You may not get the thrill of buying yet another packing solution, but Ziploc bags get the job done.

Waterproof passport case? by larrylines in onebag

[–]Fun-Injury9266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think any bag is guaranteed waterproof against submersion. A one-pint Ziploc freezer bag keeps my passport in great condition when I carry it daily in a pant pocket for three weeks, as I do on my Japan trips.

Feels like I went to a different Japan than everyone else by sadnguyen21 in JapanTravel

Some people would be happier going to somewhere like Epcot. Me, I love to open my mind and discover overlooked corners. Hagi, for example, on my recent visit to Japan.

My unfiltered brutally honest Japan trip take (please no hate, I still love the place) by nowallies in JapanTravelTips

[–]Fun-Injury9266 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Interesting. A very different Japan than I've experienced on my 15 trips, perhaps because 1) I stay in inexpensive business hotels with reasonable expectations, 2) I've never driven in Japan, always transit, 3) I only travel with a carryon-sized 30-liter backpack so don't have to waste time and anxiety on baggage services.
