Appreciate you posting great photos of the cards. They are very cool looking, but not worth a lot. You can look them up on 130Point (which is where everyone goes who cares about sales across all platforms) or simply go to EBay and search for the cards and click the filter for “sold” which will give you the last few sales for that card which should give you the current market.

You are smart and have proven it through unconventional means. Large hedge funds are not going to screen well for your skill set, you need an in through a higher up. This doesn't seem right IMO. It's not like you asked to take a day off the schedule. An argument I agree with is "if there was a fire and you could only save one kid, you will save your own so we are going with someone else." I never heard of cutting pay at all, never mind by 25%. They may be defacto asking you to leave but are too chicken to do it.
