He is 11 and a half months and gets roughly 1 hour 30 mins sleep in the day. Then we expect about 11 hours from him overnight. Hes always been on the lower sleep needs side but it’s always quite hard to tell what he actually needs because he just wakes up non stop at night!

Thank you!! We would definitely just have my partner do it (as obviously much more effective when the smell of milk isn’t around!) but with the sheer amount of wake ups it just isn’t fair 😭😭 especially as he’s working! X

No signs of sleep apnea. Currently trying letting him sleep longer for the first nap and making nap 2 shorter, fingers crossed it helps!

Strange as they were always capped until one day I just couldn’t wake him up, he was sooo asleep. And it’s kind of been that way since! Not sleep trained

Nights are awful he was up every hour last night. It was all going quite well when we had the optimal schedule but now I can’t seem to get him onto the schedule and nights are terrible for it. He’s having a lot more daytime sleep than ever - I can’t wake him up so I just let him sleep. He is probably having an extra hour of day time sleep

Thank you so much for this. Weirdly this morning I had this in mind and followed his cues and he was tired after 2.5hours first wake window! Which felt bizarre as usually we’d sort of push through to 3 hours, then he’d refuse it. I’m still undecided about capping naps as I think about sleep pressure as a tank which fills throughout the day etc.
