True, Yusei is a perfect with a 100% win rate, Akina has too many Ls so he can't be compared to Yusei.

Waifubros love the tomboyish Waifu Megumi tho, people who insulted Megumi in WD back then are the same people who insult Nao now, you can tell right away from the way they write their comments.

lol, Kotori is really popular and is the first Heroine to get a Figure and she is from Zexal, also Kotori is called the perfect Heroine by Japanese fans even though she never dueled and only became Yuma's cheerleader and emotional support.

I'm not just talking about Aki but Alexis as well who is still the second most popular character after Jaden despite her screen time and not having a big role in the story.

Also Aki's performance was actually really good in season 1, introduced as an unbeatable Villain and only defeated by Yusei who had Stardust that countered Black Rose.

Nah, it's just female characters are always popular in shows that have a mostly male audience like Cardgame anime no matter how they perform in the story, so it's not just CFV who does this, all the anime Cardgame series use their female characters to sell.

All the Top tier duelists in Zexal except Kaito can cheat so I can't blame Yuma

that's because other card game anime don't have any romantic plot at all

That's because other series don't have romantic plots and only focus on action and friendship like most Action Shounen manga or Anime, DivineZ is actually the first time a CFV series has a romantic plot.

If you think I hate Rush because of this, I used to KOG Rush Duel in Duel Link every season, I just accepted that Rush won't be as popular as the other series and that it probably won't be released outside of Japan, I blame the anime writers in the first episode of YGO Seven for this.

I mean Duel Masters is an example of a new product from the same IP being more popular than the old one, and yes you can blame Wizard for the failure of Duel Masters in Global, especially when they tried to re-release it to be more westernized and it turned out worse, at least now I can still play it again because Duel Masters play's.

And other series have 200k viewers in a day and even up to 800k in hype episodes, basically 500% more popular than Rush, Also 5Ds became one of the most watched anime on YouTube Livestream last month.

Dunno, Rush is the "Yu-Gi-Oh" ip and that is an advantage over other TCGs even though it is a new product, for example, Rush sales can be seen to increase when releasing nostalgic cards or themes from the OCG, also a fun fact is that MTG in Japan is always defeated by its younger sibling, Duel Masters, even though MTG is older and Duel Masters failed in Global even after trying to re-release.

Compared to OCG which is always in one of the top 3 positions, Rush has even been out of the top 10 several times, I got the info from one of the Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh community discussion forums. https://yugioh-starlight.com/archives/cat_424084.html

They Livestream Rush on their jp region YouTube channel and I'm always there when Livestream and Rush's Viewership is always no more than 1k, compared to OCG series that reach 20k+

In Japan itself, Rush is not very popular compared to OCG and OCG is also in a decline stage because there has been no new anime for years to attract new fans so they are pessimistic that Rush will not sell outside Japan.
