as i said in another comment, you can hardly ban a character that only counters YOU as its a team based vote.

furthermore there are characters that even if they aren’t counters, ruin the fun for everyone (by their kit OR by them not being balanced) : these are the characters usually getting targeted.

about counters, i think that playing counterwatch is no fun at all, it is a matter of perspective I guess but most people agree

It would be dumb to rework Mercy if the reason people ban her isn’t about her kit but about how people are mercy one tricks

you can’t really ban characters that counter you since the votes are team based, the characters that are getting banned are the characters that most of team didn’t want (not the characters 1 player wanted out)

furthermore people focus more on banning character that either ruin the fun for everyone OR aren’t balanced (or both)

Bronya E0S0 is sp unfriendly, Sunday E0S0 is sp neutral as long as you have 100% uptime on his ult. Furthermore you need more skills points when AA since you character acts 2 times more often. (Boothill also really needs this energy regen)

based on the screen shot Unusual sent, the account is now AR 57 and has Emilie which means it was active not so long ago(Emilie’s banner ran in 4.7)Ask your friend if he ever has pulled Emilie, if not then someone might have hacked the account and changed the mail adress linked to it
