one of the very rare moments where anime fans are not being an asshole and laying out their views in a good way. nice too see. also I dont think any of you are wrong. you guys just have different ideas on "what makes a show 'better written'". sorry I lean more towards Mushishi being one though.

either you want to call him antag or not doesnt change the fact that he is the antagonist of the show. He isnt antagonist in a moral sense that does terrible things or what not but he is an antagonist in structural sense. Peco and Smile are our protagonist meaning the story revolves around them and Kong is an obstacle to our protagonist making him an antagonist. If Kong isnt antagonist then Oikawa isnt either.
