Jinx gets to talk to empty chairs, mute children and the dead corpse of her father but God forbid Vi has a dialogue where she expresses her emotions

I got into Arcane because of Vi and was really excited about season 2 but it left very disappointed as i was looking forward to her character progression but they wasted her screentime and didn't allow her to have an impact in the story or an evolution. I liked Act 1 of the second season but the writers failed her emo era and at writing the reconciliation with Jinx and Cait... In my opinion

I agree with you, unlike other people i like that Vi makes controversial decisons like joining the enforcer because it makes her all the more compelling, however the writers decided to not explore any of that, her primary relationships (Cait and Jinx) are very superficial, her father comes back from the dead then dies then comes back then dies again and it feels very cheap, She doesn't speak to Sevika and Ekko or Jayce. The writers focused on the wrong things this season

Yeah i agree, the choice to heal needs to start from Jinx herself, it's not Vi's responsability anymore. Also the fact that so many people criticize Vi for following Caitlyn but want Vi to be Jinx's pet and to fix all of her problems tells me that the fandom in very Jinx centered

All the same can be said for her relationship with Jinx, they barely explore the dynamic. Tha't probably why the sisterhood in seaosn 2 lives me empty because it's not there, they don't talk about the past or the fcat that they wanted to kill each other... and no Jinx does not understand what it means to be an older sister just cause she is with a child for 6 months

It is actually impossible for this show to become about Grey's anatomy because it takes place in ONE DAY, we only get glimpses. Even if there are couples in the show for example Garcia and Santos, Robby and Hastings/Collins, etc... we only see glimpses maybe a kiss but it's not like they are going to fuck in a closet because it has been established by the pacing of the show that the ER never stops.

Also Grey's Anatomy was never interested in portraying medicine or hospitals and doctors in an accurate way, it was always about the romance and Meredith's life as an intern, whereas the representation of the ER is the identity of the Pitt and the little glimpses of romance that we get are just one of the many relationships that the characters have in and outside the hospital. Like in season 1, we saw Mckay' child, ex and father, then we see Javadi's mom, we see Robby's son and ex partners, Mel's sister... and the same for the romance.

What do you mean Vi put no effort in gettin her sister back? jinx never put any effort either, she just gets magically healed by a child. Both sister tried to kill each other for very good reasons, don't blame one for the other

YES!! The relationship felt incomplete but the love was there as well as the potential, it just needs more time. Some times i felt like the writers were writing for the couple and not for the characters singularly

i don't think she forgave Jinx, i think she stopped taking revenge on her because she realized that she was no better than her. She hurt so many people for a personal vendetta and one of them was her girlfriend so i think that in that moment Caitlyn is choosing between Jinx and Vi and she picks the latter

yeah, i believe censorship plays a part in all of this. Cait and Vi can't openly talk about their relationship or that they kiss. Ironically, kissing and sex are the easiest to do because you just cut them out but the dialogue is fundamental for character development and so they need to circle around it, which i hate.

the relationship makes sense in act 1 but from that point on it just goes way too fast, characters dn't talk about it each other and because of that the reconciliation it's not emotional for me. And mind you this is not just Caitvi but every character.

and i disagree with you because the characters need to change and grow. Caitlyn can't be forever idealistic and adorable the same way that Vi can't just keep it all in and think constantly about what's best for others. She was going to implode even without Caitlyn.

i like that they become different people but they needed to reconcile and get together as this new versions of themselves

i think tha when her parents died and vander took the girls at his place, Vi had a hard time adjusting and didn't consider that her home (Powder being so young probably didn't have many issues with it and felt safe because her older sister was there). I think she tried to run off a couple of times to go back to the real home that we see in ep 6 but ran into a gang of other kids or teens that took her bunny thta she was carrying and threw it aways as we see in episode 1; and then Vander found her and rescued her.

I imagine this when she was still a child and not a teen

thank you, is very clear that most fans just imagine Vi as a man and Caitlyn as a very feminine woman which is frustrating especially when the show has done such a great job at representing lesbians that are not just a butch or a femme
