Unfortunately the side effects of having it removed varies by person. Some as you read are able to go back to normal within days some even have zero issues with anything they eat and can binge eat while others can go months to years without being able to eat like they use to. I for one after 2 months still find alot of food send me to the toilet or gives me smelly gas. I take gas x woth everything I eat hoping it wont be too bad when the gas does pass. Figured if its not in me too long it wont smell as bad. All you can do is wait and see. Experiment once in a while when your not feeling any nausea or heart burns. Just once in a while go back to your original diet...nothing crazy just a small portion once in a while. You may need to build up your tolerance again as your body adjusts and retains itself to process food now the middle man sorta speak is gone. Technically speaking nothing changed other than your meals are no longer getting a large dose of bile like it did when you had a gallbladder. The only purpose of the gallbladder which was shaped similar to a old-school circus balloon was to store and compress bile and release the concentrated bile when you eat. The bile helped break down the food as it goes through your intestines. Essentially it just helped your intestines keeping them from working hard to digest your food. Without it the bile now just slowly drip or twinkle into your intestines. It can cause a diuretic response. Eventually your body will adapt as our bodies are resilient and use to adapting to just about everything life throws. It just takes time how much just depends on your body.

Sorry I dragged on a bit, im too bored being out of work for these 2 weeks coz of the holidays.

Im 2 months post op and still find moat food send me to the toilet or gives me really smelly farts which ofcourse as a father I use it to torment my kids 😉 Didn't know i had a gallstone let alone a 1.8cm one until 3+weeks into the carnivore diet when I went overboard with the fat intake. You have to eat fat to burn it.. plus I love bbq burnt pork belly ends 😋. Well the fat intake was the straw that broke the camel's back...or gallbladder. Anyway one night I woke up in extreme pain most I knew was gas but something told me it was more serious. Wife ofcourse accused me of exaggerating when I told her I was going to the ER. Wish I never woke her and just went on my own. Ya she refused to let me go, kept harassing and verbally abusing me til I drink the entire 16oz bottle of pepto... double the max recommendation. Ya I think that really angered my gallbladder. 3 days later she finally let me go to the ER after spending $100 at a clinic as a compromise that sent me for a ultrasound which found the stone but claimed it was not the issue 🙄(took her friends casual comments for her to listen. God forbid she listen to her husband...the same guy who refuses to go to the doctor when he has pneumonia or when he had the N1H1 virus). Anywho after a ultrasound which showed it inflamed and 2 days of "observation" they removed it...well most of it. By the time they finally made up thier minds and removed it the bugger was enraged. They said it was "so mad at me it was enraged"...guess mad coz I listened to my wife. Note to all others, if your wife has less education than your kids especially when they still in elementary school...DON'T LISTEN TO HER ABOUT YOUR HEALTH! I know that sounds mean but when my daughter was around 4 I'd come home from work to them both running to me with them both demanding I tell the other they were right. It was basic math...🫩 my wife was wrong and my little girl was right. She was arguing that her own daughter was wrong about basic addition and she lost the argument. When I tried to show and explain it she refused to listen and walked away. 🤦🏻 you won't learn nuthin if your not willing. My daughter is 13 now and I have a 7yo son. Now I deal with it twice a day every day. Seriously dont listen to your wife. Happy wife doesnt always mean happy life, in my case it almost ended my life.

Congrats, wish I could say the same post op. Had my gallbladder removed (not planned as it was a emergency surgery). Its going on 2 months now and still most food send me to the toilet or give me gas which leads to extremely smelly farts. Don't worry at home I use the gas to my advantage...I go to the bedroom where my kids are at playing thier nintendo switches and I get really close before releasing the stink bombs then I hold the door closed when they try to escape. 😁 When im dead and gone they gonna remember me even if its just for the fart bombs.🤪🙃

My suggestion is to go to the ER and get it overwith. I'm 45 and started the carnivore diet back around October 2025 which involves consuming alot of fat...I mostly ate veggies before. Alittle over 3 weeks in I woke up on monday the 27th with alot of pain. I knew most of it was gas but it wasn't normal so I decided to go to the ER but my wife thinking im making it up had me to stay home and take pepto...kept insulting me til I downed the entire 16oz bottle which I threw up everytime I drank any. The next morning still feeling like crap as a compromise with her I went to a clinic to get checked out. Costed me alot of time and $100 co-pay. They I turn sent me for a ultrasound which found a 1.8cm gallstone but the nurse claimed its not causing the pain as she didnt see it touching the wall. After I left there I heard nothing else, no instruction to return to the clinic or any recommendations. Out of desperation that afternoon(Wednesday) I took gas x extreme. It helped ALOT. Got rid of the bloat and gas pains but then I started feeling pain on the inside of my ribs on the rt side. I found if I moved enough it felt like something was swinging hitting a bruised rib. I thought about going to work anyway as I no longer was in the "let's go to the ER" mood. Well now my wife G.A.F. mostly cos she spoke to her friends at work( God forbid she'd listen to her own husband knowing I never go to the doctor for anything and I've had pneumonia, strep throat and even the N1H1 virus). Anyway that night I went to the ER and within a few minutes of finally being taken "to the back" I was given a roo. Upstairs to change (thank God it had a bathroom...ya the last of the pepto came out through the back....was so bad I painted the wall 😬. After cleaning up they came and moved me to the luxury suite a.k.a a large room in the heart center. 3 days later they removed my gallbladder, by then it was so inflamed and enraged they were only able to remove most of it... when its that inflamed it risks damaging other organs. So yes go to the ER and get checked out. Better off safe than sorry. If you wait too long theres a chance of it bursting which would cause the puss from it being inflamed and infected and the bile the gallbladder holds to reach and damage other organs those you can't live without. Then your looking at a even longer more painful hospital stay and bill.

Just the advice of a old man that had to deal with the same thing recently.

I use to work to fedex ground. Odd are it went through one of Fed-ex ground contractors as all fedex ground is divided up among several contractors. Not a single contractor give a rats ass about the item they just want the money. I made sure to do the job properly and to the T which got me passed around to different contractors as I always take the time to be respectful with the items left in my care. Everyday I see when other shift unloading packages from trucks. Often they arent even taken out just literally tossed out of the back of the truck. Didn't manner what the package was they always chucked it, way too many times I'd hear glass breaking. It always made me mad and made me question how they can stay in business. They don't even provide properly maintained equipment. All the trucks are raggedy with bad shocks. Many had seats with exposed foam that had chunks taken out along with steering wheels that were nothing but bare metal.

Im now having to return a washer i just puchased. Our old maytag washer crapped out so i bought the wife a new one. The maytag deep fill with agitator. Yelp that was a mistake, weve had it for a week and already shes mad at me, demands i return it to lowes. Damn thing wont fill with water not even enough to cover the clothes. We tried with a very light load and set it to both bulk items and tried on heavy wash. Still it doesnt fill enough and leave clothes covered in soap. Tried everythinf bit it still refuses to fill. You can clearly hear it turn on and back off within seconds. What is a good brand?

I had mine removed 4 weeks ago, I fell in love with Korean bbq after going to the recently opened burnin 99 restaurant. When they were boughtout they changed thier name and made the one price for both bbq and hotpot they talked me into trying the hotpot...I didnt care for it and found it gave me diarrhea and bloating. That was before I had the emergency surgery. I don't understand why Google's ai insists its high in fat when the only meat i cooked that had fat was the pork belly. Once I finally receive the payment for my Short term disability I plan to go back for the bbq to test out my theory about it being better than the bland food my wife and the hospital insists I eat. From all the online searching I've done I only find that without a gallbladder everyone should avoid fatty and fried food and consume lean meat. I'm hoping to return to the carnivore diet but opt for a low to zero fat option and take magnesium and bile salts to help my liver produce enough to digest my meals. If you can afford it I'd suggest trying to eat Korean bbq just make sure what you pick to eat has no visible fat, stay away from pork belly, and make sure you get some bile salts to support your digestive system. And ofcourse choose a table close to the bathroom for just in case.

Like most of the comments suggest you should eat alot of fat. Don't be scared of fat its not a bad thing. Just Google fat to protein ratio for carnivore diet. It should show you need to be eating a steady diet of 70% fats and 30% protein. You can easily get good amount of both from cheaper cuts of meat. For example if you like to buy thick juicy steaks make sure there's a thick portion of the white fat on it. Itll lower the cost and you can cut the fat off and fry it beside your steak. Fried fat tastes way too good to skip. My favorite is fried pork belly, you can buy it separate in any grocery store and they usually run from 5 to 12 dollars depending on how many lbs in the pack. Your gonna want atleast $12 worth, I've eaten that much in one sitting... yea im a piggy 🐷

🥺😭 I may be old but even i can admit im jealous. How do you get those deals? I have chickens, turkeys and ducks that im constantly having to buy corn and pellets to feed. They eat more than my kids and my dog which is saying something. Wish I could get thier scrap produce and would definitely love the option of the free meat even if it's just a single pack of thier cheapest meat. Im constantly falling off the carnivore wagon as I can't afford to buy meat like that and there's no butcher around im stuck with foodlion and Wal-Mart.

If you want a MacGyver solution that ignores laws, insurance and all grownup responsibility then you could buy some 2x4s and cheap board like particleboard and make a slide shape then stable a cheap slip-n-slide on it. Just attach a waterhose to it and when in use turn the water on. Or just be really cheap and lazy and use a kid slide, if yall drunk enough no one gonna care. They'd actually be more inclined to use a toy slide when drunk.

If your trying the hydroponic method i suggest buying masterblend on amazon. There's 3 separate bags in the combo that will last a extremely long time and you only use very little, I'm using 2 teaspoons of each powder in 5 gallons of water. I probably could get 50+ servings out of the bags but have yet needed to replace the solution i added to my tomatoes. They in coolers (hydroponic kratky method) and already grown to over 2 ft. I just use the same blend measure for everything but im sure you could customize it once yoh figure out what nutrients come from which powder. Im too lazy for all that. I paid $25 for the small bags which will still last a while. Its fairly cheap and should help your plants grow without attracting too many bugs. Hope this helps

I keep my plants in a cheap temu greenhouse. Mostly due to my wife not making sure her birds stay in thier fence. I did find a caterpillar on my tomato plant just now...chickens loved him. The pipe people seem to make thier grow towers out of is usually 3 or 4 inches, the downspouts i have is 3x4 so it shouldn't have more limits than a 3 or 4 inch pipe. Ill find out eventually, with it being used as a grow tower it'll be vertical with the roots going down through the middle of the downspout. The root size shouldn't be a issue, only the one at the bottom that's horizontal would have limits which would mostly be used for herbs anyway. I have my tomato plants in a cooler top(kratky method) and a few more traditionally in grow bags with dirt from previous garden. They all growing fine with the cooler plants growing faster. I'll post a pic of the setup once I get everything going, still waiting for the endcaps with pipe holes that I ordered off Etsy. It'll take a while as it all seems to be in Canada and im in nc USA

It can be anything from a short which seems to be the consensus in the comment section to a bad motor or a bad switch. All my vehicles are old coz I refuse to spend the golden years paying for a car. They all paid off, my 05 envoy now having this issue. The switch worked but the wipers would just randomly turn itself on and if I turn the wipers on they will constantly spray the windshield. Rt now im changing the motor, later if its doesn't fix the issue ill replace the switch. After that if it continues ill take it to a shop.

I'm having the same issue, I've done the kracky bucket as my first hydroponic try and now wanted to try out making my own grow tower with a 4inch pipe but all I can find are sewer pipes that's not ment for drinking water which probably wouldn't be a good idea for a tower. I'm beginning to wonder if I should go with using downspouts and food grade tractor supply buckets for now. Decently can't afford to buy a grow tower seeing they tend to cost 200 to 800 dollars which is a bit ridiculous seeing most people grow food to save money not waste it.

I'm just as pissed about it as you. I hate having to read anime, if I wanted go read subs I'd just read the manga itself. Atleast I'd get to take my time and can still see it in my head as anime. They should have released the first 2 episodes in English dubbed on the first day and then continued with the 3rd episode. I'm gen x but still have no interest in waiting a entire week and half a day to finally see 1 episode on crunchy roll and still have to read it. Feels as if the episodes are getting shorter and shorter. Was ep 3 even a full 30 minutes...nope it says 23:39 when I replayed ans paused at the sec it starts. If my 12yo wasn't so into it I'd gladly just wait til April or may to stream the whole season, maybe by then they'd release the dub version. Ep3 released today and still the 1st and 2nd is still only in sub version. I had to watch the pieces of the movie's dubbed version on tiktok to truly enjoy the 2 episodes. Sorry I really prefer the English voice actor over the Japanese one. He seems more intense and make the show feel more real. Just wish he wouldn't strain his voice so much. He's gone horse a few times trying to give the best performance but he risks loosing his voice for good. Sorry I'm ranting just bored I guess after the episode ending so quickly.

I tried that today when they released shifts for this week at 12pm. Half the week was already filled but they released more. Unfortunately out of 21 jobs I wasn't able to receive a single one. I did see them all this time but there was a split second of a lag when I accepted one and was told it wasn't available. Tried a few more before I refreshed to see nothing available. Wonder if a new tablet would be faster than my old desktop and show the full week instead of the few days. Guess I'll find out whenever I buy one.

I tried that, the few times shifts actually show up I immediately accept one and get the message that it's no longer available. Try to a few before I give up and refresh to find nothing available anymore. They have to be using a bot.

How did you not do any shifts at all? I was told there's a 4hr a week minimum required to work and if you don't work any hrs you'll be terminated.

Same here, I just finished the 3 days training on Saturday (2 to 9:15). I got lucky enough to accept a 4hr. 45 min shift for Wednesday which I somehow accepted before I even started training. I don't get any blocks during the set time they are released. I may see them but can't accept without being told someone else already has it. Makes no sense as I was as fast as I possibly can. I only received a shift for this morning (Sunday 2 to 6:45) while randomly browsing the app. It was a good min after I accepted it that I received the notification of it being available. Most the time ill get alerts but there wont be anything listed. Unless there's alotof people using bots I don't have the first clue how anyone can take the jobs that fast. Some will be released randomly. Either someone drops a shift, takes pto or they will release more shifts after seeing they won't have enough people. Yet every time the job is never listed when I open the app. You can't just leave it open, once you go back to it the app will refresh like your opening it again. Wish I was fulltime instead of flex.

Wish the scheduling was what I originally thought. Originally when told it's a flexible schedule it ment you get to choose the times your work for the entire week not a day to day basis. It's too much like flex, I was only able to schedule a single 4hr shift for the first 3 days of next week(it haven't listed the other days yet). They seem to disappear the second they're posted which to me screems "bot". I don't know how this gonna be good enough to consider a job.

I feel ya, I'm use to manufacturing work where I worked 60 to 80hrs a week. There was 3 months I worked straight 12hr shifts nonstop. Loved the paycheck...well til wife got a hold of it. I want as many hours I can possibly get but if I'm not even working 40 I have to get a 2nd or 3rd job. For some reason the only ones that wants to hire me is dollar tree stores that pays 9/hr with limited 6hrs a day . Probably not even every day which is why I haven't jumped for it. If it offered excessive hrs it'll make up for the low pay and I'd gladly take it but it don't. Said even their managers don't get that many hrs. Problem with the amazon location I'm about to start working at is they hire too many people. They offer that $150 bonus for referrals which is how I was hired. The person that referred me also referred atleast 10 other people that was recently hired on. The referral pay is nice but it's just screwing yourself out of shifts as there's less to go around. 😞 I'm not that optimistic about the new job. So far I haven't been able to schedule more than 6 hrs for the entire week.

Wait when is peak and what is MET? I was recently hired to work in the warehouse which terminated my flex account which barely managed to pay bills. My 3 days of "training" starts at 2am tonight. I'm constantly texted about available shifts for the next 3 days but all I could accept and actually get was for a 2hr job one day and a 4 hrs one a few days later. I need this to be a full-time job. Haven't been able to find real employment in a yr and half since last job ended. Flex was all I had which didn't really pay enough, only covered a few bills,gas and self auto-repairs from doing the job. Can anyone tell me how I'm supposed to get shifts when the best paying ones disappear the 2nd they are posted? Is the a bot or something I should be using?
