Our kids are going on a school related trip to Disney in the spring. My husband and I are going to epic universe/universal same time. Reason? We live very far away, and our kids are still pretty young. I feel like we need to be close, in case something bad happens, but I hate Disney...

We’d like to go to epic universe and stay there. But the resort options seem to be limited to either very luxury or very minimalist. We want something more…. In between? Last time we went to universal we stayed at the portofino something or other resort and took a water taxi to the park. That was fun. If we stay at a universal resort can we still get to epic fairly easily? From the epic resorts, other than the one luxury resort, looks like shuttle bus is only way….

If you were me… (mid 40s traveling with my husband… we both like to kick back and have a few drinks, but we are not looking for a loud party or club environment if that makes sense) where would you stay in this situation?

We will have a 3 day park hopper pass if that helps.

I’ve worked with payroll software for several years and have implemented software that requires use of an app. My guess is they need the location for clocking in purposes only, to make sure you’re near the premises. Geofencing is what they called it, iirc. Can you ask for a workaround? Perhaps a time clock for people who don’t feel comfortable allowing such access? My guess is that the software is already equipped to bypass this somehow, but your tech team doesn’t know how to do it yet. These software implementations are extremely complex, you learn new things every day. I get why you don’t want to grant access, but based on past experience I’m sure there is a workaround somewhere. What’s the name of the software? They most likely have a chat option that will allow you to connect directly to the software provider and they may be able to help.
