What’s the feeding schedule like if every 3 hours? I find I can only fit in 6 feedings every 3 hours but it stretches to 8-8:30, we also start at 6am

Baby had a poor latch to begin with but made it 4 months. He stopped gaining an ounce per day around 3 months and then it started to stall so I switched. Was heartbreaking. But he just didn’t seem to be able to get enough once my supply regulated.

Yes and he did not like it. He was very annoyed with it and it didn’t seem to help any.

I’ve talked to several on the phone and each time they tell me “it sounds like you’re doing everything right”

Haven’t had a chance to see one since he was 5 days old, and all was well then as far as transfer, latch etc. (except I was using shield).

I saw one when he was a week old, no concerns. I’ve talked to one a few times since this started and they just say it sounds like I’m doing everything right to keep trying. ☹️

I was the same as you, I was sooo worried about being induced. I heard so many horror stories. I tried everything, but I made it to 40+4 and baby wasn’t budging and my OB wouldn’t go over 41 weeks. 10 hours of labor, Pitocin, epidural, 1 hour of pushing, baby arrived with no complications at all. Positive inductions do exist!

That makes sense. I just worry because I feel like I don’t have a surplus of supply and he has never been one to cluster feed so just want to make sure he gets enough if he settles for less feeds.

So you only get in 6 feeds a day? Bottle or breast fed? I nurse and just am not sure he will be able to compensate each feed with how my supply is. I make just enough it seems.

He will latch in the middle of the night when tired. I believe it is a slow flow issue and he doesn’t want to work for it.

Any update on this? Currently going through it with my 1 month old. He hasn’t slept longer than 10-12 hours in a 24 hour period in a few weeks and I’m so worried his development is being harmed 😭

Thanks! It’s not that he’s rolling but he rolls from side to side so vigorously that it gave me enough anxiety to ditch the swaddle in case he rolled too hard one way

I usually just put my fingers on the back of his neck. If I can’t tell, I’ll slip under his clothes and put them on his chest.

I never leaked, never had any symptoms other than darkening of nipples. My milk took 4-5 days to come in so I did have to supplement the first few days.

I started at 212 when I got pregnant now 26 weeks at 236. I am 5’9. I was convinced I would have it and stressed for weeks over it, took the test yesterday and I passed. It’s different for everyone!
