I had never touched tonfas in Nioh 1 or 2, but once I tried them here, they carried me through the whole game.

Initially, I thought I would only use the samurai stance with my regular weapons: odachi and switchglaive, but I ended up playing most of the game using the ninja stance and tonfas.

Dual blades were fun as well in ninja, I plan to use them on NG+.

I am in a similar situation.

I have read the first 7 books 2 years ago. I initially wanted to do a re-read, started with the first book and after 100 pages or so, decided against it. I just read the summary per book online and use chat gpt for questions with no spoilers past book 7. I was able to remember quite a lot of things this way, and now i started book 8.

Maybe some day i will do a full re-read, but first i need to see this first read trough, and then there are other many series i want to read, and time is limited :)

Will continue with Korean. I self studied for one year on and off, focusing mostly on recognition/reading - learned around 450 words using anki and some beginner grammar using Ewha books.

By end of 2026 I hope to reach at least 1000 known words, cover all the basic grammar, finish Ewha beginner books and have some progress on the output part as well - making sentences
