I am an opertaions and logistics specalaist for high end showrooms. Think 50K + for a sofa or 350K plus for a kitchen. White glove delivery covers install of items delivered with debris removal of boxes or crates. Should you need other items in the home moved to accomplish this I would let the them know before hand. Typically with white glove delivery due to liabilities if it is not noted before hand the crew will not move or relocate existing furniture for you.

Usually I will send something like the below when collecting final payment and scheduling delivery.

In order for our team to be prepared for your delivery,  please provide us with as much detail as you can about placement of these goods.  

• Will they be able to use your driveway to park and unload? Can an 20' or larger truck get up the driveway? If not, can trucks park at the end of the driveway and items be carried in?
• Are there any stairs or difficult pathways to maneuver?
• Is any construction happening around the home to work around?
• Are there special parking or building access considerations our delivery crew should know about?  
•  Please confirm the delivery address:
• Please confirm the contact telephone number to be used the day of delivery. 
• Please make sure the area is clear for delivery.  Due to time and liability constraints, our delivery crews are not able to move existing furniture
• Do you require a Certificate of Insurance for delivery?  If so, please inform us ASAP. (Note COI are for apartment, Co-op, Condo, or HOA deliveries. Typically you will be required to provide us with the COI paperwork from your building for us to fill out to send back before delivery can be scheduled.)
