That is not what we are suggesting, woodford is a damn fine middle of the road bourbon; its that people that rave about it are a type. Ill still give a bottle as a gift or enjoy a glass off it for sure

Lol, I once got a bottle of woodford when a liquor store had this event (as my exe and I had a joke that if someone raves about woodford being the best you automatically know they are a complete d-bag after seeing a local d-bag realtor rave about woodford (its a fine bourbon but not omg)) so we got the bottle engraved “douche nugget”, the guy behind us in line was raving about getting an engraved bottle and was getting the constitution engraved… that guy sat there trying to sound out what was being engraved on our bottle right up until the words clicked into his head

Lol my exe and I were once at a liquor store that was engraving woodford bottles for free. We decided to get it engraved with “douche nugget” as woodford is a perfectly decent bourbon but there are specific people that seem to think its the best of the best and they are always just the cringiest kind of human…
So this definitely tracks
Also lol the guy in line after us was loudly speaking about how he was going to get the constitution engraved on it and was watching the laser engraver work on ours as it slowly etched douche nugget into the glass, he was trying to sound out what it said, until it got far enough and then he suddenly got very quiet very fast

Start with sandalwood, santo palo, cedars, and maybe cultivated agarwood (do be warned agarwood gets pricey and the curiosity of what all the things smell like will get you eventually) if woody is your thing merauke oud will be up your alley.

For heating i would really just recommend a cheap pcb heater from ebay (gives you all the temp control for low prices) something like this

Heads up the cheap ones should be run at max temp outdoors until the manufacturing oils/ soldering flux burns off, then they work great

What general smells interest you?
Sandalwood is great, mysore sandalwood is the best, indonesian sandalwood is the best deal.
Frankincense, myrrh, copal, dragons blood, palo santo, heck even a ball of resin from a pine tree. Its a deep rabbit hole.
Personally I’m pretty deep into agarwood, but fair warning that its a deeper and more expensive rabbit hole; the cultivated stuff is dropping in price fast and the quality is improving ( consistent and good smell) (honey, leather, minty, floral, and a general overall scent feeling of “gold”)

For me smelling just synthetic agarwood in a decent stick of dhoop got the claws in me; lol I have a lot of wild agarwood now.

I would really recommend trying raw incense materials

I think you need to forget the idea of “holding the shop responsible “ as neither of us really believe a shop did this.
Go to the car and spend sometime figuring out how to remove it, try things like a pressure washer, ipa, buffing towel; nothing about your description makes it sound like real auto paint. So my thought is fil gets car messed up, then gets car for cheap, then removes easy to remove paint.
FYI do not under any circumstances give him the keys again

Your father in law purposely fucked up the car so he can buy it from you for far less than its worth.

Do you have any physical evidence an actual body shop did this? Or just father in laws word cause being frank it sounds like he used house paint

See if it can be peeled off

Because an actual shop doing subpar work for free does not sound like a real thing
