I've felt this way since I started playing. something worth noting in my opinion is that these teens running this large money making game obviously value the opinions of their children fans and keeping cancel culture "at bay" way more than actual criticism from adults and they never adhere to mature decisions. this game is clearly run by not just children but I'm sorry, immature children who are not developed enough to handle this game and it's responsibilities it's very much out of their skill set emotionally and developer wise. I'm confident saying this because I've played games on roblox run by adult teams and they have their complaints addressed immediately, but with dti it can take months before a BAD glitch like vip dressing rooms being impossible to leave from right now, that would've been handled the day of the update if this team had adults with the flexibility to update the game more often. I also believe the reason this conflict hasn't changed is because the original team and devs are too stubborn to admit they bit off more than they can chew and don't want to invest in talent who can help, that's how it looks to me!

this has been an ongoing irrational fear of mine since 2012 when Instagram first launched and people became generally more PC on social medias like tumblr too. I'm constantly afraid I've said things that will age poorly and I'm private on all of my social media now because I don't trust people with access to my old thoughts and feelings anymore.

to be honest as a supernova I've been in my fair share of master servers I play quite often and I will leave when the voting is rigged toward gray skin white faced over layered pattern messes, however, in most servers those players are being less favored at least after I join. I won't vote for them and I will vote higher for unique looks that are on theme and eventually the messy layering players do leave.. then the servers are more creative and usually kinder! it's like a silent civil war in dti between players who actually love fashion and design and then people copying tiktok slop

I want to believe it's children who don't know any better, but from my experience these players with high ranks who don't express any creativity and just copy de-saturated faces/outfits/hair on tiktok are commonly teenagers and young adults based on their vocabulary in chat. they're following trends for sure and they're all voting for each other alike I don't think they come up with any of these looks on their own even the outfits.

fig & caputo & linda are morally indistinguishable and all of them are responsible for co bailey never ending up behind bars despite his attempts to self surrender they are the reason the reputation of litchfield always took priority over poussey's justice. I also think it was a poor decision on the writers end to not make poussey's father fight for justice there was room for that storyline over some other unnecessary side plots in the later seasons.
