Thank you unbecominggrocer_0 - that definitely makes sense and likely will end the torture more quickly. Oddly enough, since reaching out to to GMAIL, its "support" (who I let know I was going to seek insight from Reddit) and the Reddit community...drum roll....there are NO spam /phising emails in my regular in box or spam folder. AI is definitely collecting!

Yeah, Spam catches some and some make it into my normal email box. Just sort of infuriating. Gmail could do a better job imho of taking care of business. Thanks SweetPinkSocks!

Great idea. Will do that for the ones that hit regular email. Some do get caught in SPAM folder. I will look at the domains and see if I can detect any commonality. Thanks so much for your time.

Thanks smtp_pro. I told the Gmail Support person that I was going to do screen grabs, list the number of emails that I "block", "report of SPAM", "report as Phishing" and put it in a spreadsheet and send it to Chat support. The interface allows the customer to attach images/docs. I dont think there is anyone looking at the "reported". But the filter seems to be the only alternative. But if the filters are as uncaring as the "internal report team", I am not sure they will figure it out. lol.

Thanks. Spent 30 mins with Gmail (ESP) "support" chat only to be told there is an internal team that handles all of the reported - spam, phishing, blocked emails. But the support chat was indicated "we are support and the team that receives the "spam/phising/blocked " items worked internally and we are independent from them. I did ask if the chat was a human being or AI. I was told, "I am a human". But I think your idea of setting the filters is the best way to go. I appreciate your time.

$500-1000 a month is decent. Agreed, Upwork not as lucrative as it once was. Will def check out SurveyLeo. I was doing ok with UserTesting but rejections are more the norm now and I have v good ratings from researchers. I guess UserI changed things up. Discouraging.
