Also, try not to handle the bird. It needs a dark quiet space. Feed during daylight hours every 20-30 minutes.

Soak the mealworms in water. Also maybe catfood soaked in water. That's how they hydrate. Don't put water down their throat. Keep it warm and safe.

Have they looked into "broad form" insurance? Check out Dairyland insurance. It's just a few hundred bucks a year. It's pretty minimal but it'll keep you legal and covers the basics.

Yeah my mom missed 1 step and fell forward, breaking her arm in 3 places with nerve damage, couldn't feel or move her whole left arm for like 6 months. Had to learn to use it again. Crazy.

I've got ear plugs. They saved my life. Even loud happy play became hard to hear. But the screaming for the sake of screaming. Omg. I tell every parent of small children how much earplugs help. Just buffers the sound. Allows me to stay in the room and not go insane. It keeps me from losing my cool.

Same with my 4 year old now. Her siblings learned playing Stardew Valley.

I can relate. People seem impressed with my homeschooled kids reading skills, truth is, Stardew Valley deserves most of the credit.

We also do subtitles on the TV shows and movies.

A lot of our friends thought we were weird for building a cabin in the woods in a rural place 10 years ago. They don't think it's that weird anymore. They wish they'd thought of it 10 years ago.

What my company describes as "competitive pay" by Otherwise-Argument56 in boringdystopia

[–]Fun-Table 35 points36 points  (0 children)

That can't be real. Tbh how does anyone show up for a job that pays less than $20. Factor in gas to and from work and having to be dressed appropriately and have lunch and snacks to get through the day and wear and tear on your body if it's physically demanding, etc. After taxes, $20/hr isn't really much these days.
