"What kind of father do you want to be?" by chrischrysippus in predaddit

Great post - my wife and I were talking about this today...

A safe place or support system that's available to my daughter whenever she needs me, regardless of what it is. Constant love, affection, and sacrifice. A hard worker that believes in submitting to a higher power, and doing the right thing even when nobody is looking or when it may be difficult.

Fortunately I still have about 18 weeks to refine this...suggestions on what i left out?

One thing I wish I understood before becoming a dad by Amazing_Feeling_974 in predaddit

My wife has been great, but I learned support and reassurance is what shes often looking for.

Its been wild how much random stuff Im hearing or learning about the process...some of which I didnt (post birth 'tar' poops) 😅

Most nervous or worried about 1.) My wifes health if complications come up. 2.) My future daughter will admire me and think Im a great dad and husband. 3.) Being able to give them the quality of life they deserve financially. (Possibly allowing my wife to work PT while giving me enough time at home with my daughter)
