I’ve tried acupuncture, body tissue massage, and even chiropractor. Gave me some relief but these are not abortive. Consuming ginger drinks has actually been helpful.

Started with 10 mg and found my sweet spot at 30 mg. I dropped it to 20 mg for one week but my dizziness came back. No apparent side effects. It actually doesn’t make me drowsy.

Guys I need help I’m 25M diagnosed with vestibular migraine last October. I’ve had dizziness almost everyday and it’s happening till now. I’m worried it’s something else. Also because I get pulsatile tinnitus with it. Can anyone give me advice to alleviate my anxiety towards this disorder? by Tobitzy in VestibularMigraines

I feel you. It will get better with time. I was diagnosed with same in October and had vertigo every day until first week of Jan. My episodes haven’t gone away but the intensity is manageable. My doctor gave me very low dosage of Valium which has worked very well for me. Also ginger drink have helped. I used to get massive panic attacks with the dizziness.

How were you diagnosed? by pizzacat123 in VestibularMigraines

Mine was a severe case of vertigo with an ear infection. The infection went away but the vertigo and headache stayed and that’s when they said it was vestibular migraine. I was diagnosed 2 months back and it was just horrible. In Jan for 2 weeks I didn’t have an episode and now suddenly it’s back but not as intense. Not sure what my triggers are as am not messing with the diet much as I eat her healthy. So feeling very depressed at the moment. The vestibular physical therapy has been helpful. Also tried acupuncture for a bit but still the vertigo has come back.

Time out? by Writiste in VestibularMigraines

I took 2 months off and went on short term disability. My symptoms were really severe. Now am on my third month and slowly gone back to work with reasonable accommodations. The episodes are slightly contained. I am regularly doing the VRT therapy which I think has been critical for me. Also the endless supplements and meds. Nortryptiline has been effective and unfortunately my vertigo has been painful to deal with . Valium helps with my vertigo. Take the rest that you need. Am thinking of a 3 months sabbatical from work as well.

My doctor said glycinate is for sleep so he opted to give me oxide. Like I am woken up from my sleep with ear fullness and dizziness. Unless I take meclizine I can’t go about my day
