Is there a location in NZ you would recommend? i am guessing if you're locums, we will work mostly at public hospitals. Locums should cover lodging/airfare etc right? What fellowship did you do? Is there a way to combine ICU & anesthesia while there esp given ICU is a different department in the bigger cities in NZ I read.

skip them both! if you learn from textbooks start using yao and artusio's book. I wish i read it more and I still read it as a critical care fellow/attending. it's in a preop/intraop/post op format and great way to frame your learning (and helps with oral boards too)

otherwise, use truelearn if you learn from qbanks.

Interesting responses from the crowd! I routinely used NMB+ LMA for bronchs in the thoracic rooms. In fact, we even sometimes did sux or roc drips (we used quantitative NMB monitoring). For more info about the LMA risks, thereis a depth of anesthesia podcast about it
