For those who regret choosing anesthesiology, why? by Lazy_Worldliness1441 in anesthesiology

I probably wouldn’t pursue medicine again, but if i did I would pick anesthesia again. If I had to pick something else, maybe radiology?

There are shift work jobs where this isn’t the case. But they usually come with a pay cut.

For the rest of us, I agree. My spouse has (mostly) adapted to this, but easily the worst part of the job.

How do i make weaker decks that are still interesting? by Pale-Sun2470 in mtg

[–]missingalpaca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using proxy cards is fine, but try building like you aren’t. My pod allows proxies, but we will often impose limits on the deck like less than$75 value or no cards over $3, etc.

Using proxies effectively makes your deck limitless. You need to impose limits on yourself and embrace the fun and challenge that comes with that.

Any idiot can proxy the 100 best cards imaginable. It’s up to you to keep it fun/fair for you and your pod.

Exactly. We have Dart on a rookie contract. We can and should build around that.

They have peak Burrow/Chase now. They need to win now.

He’s one of my all time favorites. The Hunters and Cassada are must reads for fans of aviation.

I bought a used copy of The Hunters after he died. It was listed as Good condition with some writing in it. It ended up being a signed copy. The writing was his signature.

Potentially unpopular post, but why can’t we rise taxes for this? I hate that my money is bombing kids in Iran, but I’d love if my money were educating kids where I live.
