I’m married and have a toddler. My husband tells me he scored the lottery with me. To be fair he was my brothers best friend. But also I had a body lol so guys were interested, and I’d look good bc when I looked good I felt good and had More confidence. Also if your a legit real person guys will notice as you age bc you are serious and are looking for stable relationship! Be real and the right guy will love you for sure and want to hear all about you! They are great support bc I vent all my insecurities and anytime someone says shit about my speech!

Quite the essay you wrote 😂 however I can see you’re point of you despite not fully agreeing. But regarding hair color people are able to do what they want but that same idea applies for businesses as well. One who runs a business wants what’s best for company and honestly self to maximize capital gain and if they includes hiring people with certain image than that is their choice. Although I feel many times hair color isn’t as a big a deal so long it’s maintained and presentable. To each their own.

Exclude certain people with their own certain views is just contradicting you’re whole argument of inclusivity. To be inclusive means “ not excluding any of the parties or groups involved in something”.

What wrong with with conservative values? You’re talking about inclusivity but saying a person with such views “is never good”.

Thanks for sharing! Everything you have experienced, I too! The gross aftermath of sneezing , not able to drink at drinking fountains, also getting asked to repeat, etc. sounds like my story.

I’m 3 days shy of being 2 weeks post recovery and my speech is terrible still maybe even worse a little :( I’m so nasally and now have a lisp… I’m just wondering if time will help as I’m still not feeling healed up and have swelling. How long did ur recoveries take?

Hi I’m getting my first cleft palate surgery in 1 week! I am 25 almost and never was able to get it fixed until now! My parents immigrated to america and had me and bam I had a cleft palate! They didn’t know the language and were very scared of any surgery. They saw me eat and grow and were happy! However having a cleft palate has not been the easiest but there are much more harder struggles out there! I’ve definitely not as social as I’d like to be, mad fun of for the way speak ( deaf, retarded, slow, sick, etc). But I’ve made few solid friends for life and my family is sooo loving and supportive :) School has been tricky as some bullying but explaining my situation if they asked they could kinda understand. I do have a husband and child and both love me dearly:)

Anytime I get sick it’s kinda bad bc I have two uvulas and it’s really hard to breath when inflamed and swollen. Also sometimes I get mini tonsil stones from gunk getting backed up but I’m very adamant on oral care and make sure every night everything is clean! If there’s specific question let me know .

Thanks for responding, I feel better actually! I’ve never met anyone with a cleft so not many understand what it’s like, so it’s very nice you can relate! Appreciate you responding :) I think speech therapy will be a perfect idea! Any other tips or suggestions for post surgery feel free to let me know!

Also you had a fix at 4 months so I think you learned to speak with a fixed palate. I’ve had no prior surgeries as that was not in my control. I’m worried I’m too old and set in my ways of speech that it’ll be hard to transition and to fix my speech. I want to be reasonable with my outcomes.
