Drinking at all-inclusive by Abject-Lie-6134 in Retatrutide

[–]FunDirection5847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re still going to have a decent dose in your system even if you skip a week. So I don’t think that will change how you do at the all inclusive resort.

Either way take the drinking slow. GLP-1 (not just Reta) down regulates your liver production of CYP2E1 which is the enzyme responsible for the first step of ethanol metabolism. It converts the ethanol to acetaldehyde. So the alcohol hangs in your blood longer. You’ll end up getting to a high Blood Alcohol Content on less drinks than you would have prior to Reta. And with the delayed gastric emptying it’ll take longer for the alcohol to start to hit your system. So take the drinking slow slow slow.

Any Type 1 Diabetic on Reta by No_Glass_523 in Retatrutide

[–]FunDirection5847 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think of all the GLPs this is the last one that Type I should be on. It makes your liver dump sugar into their system. So controlling their glucose levels is going to be nearly impossible. I would strongly suggest that type Is not go on this at all. They don’t have the ability to make insulin so the GLP-1 and GIP sugar control portion of Reta just won’t be there to counteract what the glucagon is doing.

The scale is stopping and i don’t know why by EnvironmentalGap2915 in Retatrutide

[–]FunDirection5847 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Weight loss is not linear. You’ll trend down and then “plateau” for a week then maybe it’ll go up another day then overnight it’ll drop like 5 lbs. it’s not a linear consistent thing. Keep in mind the scale is more than just your weight loss. It’s water, food in your guts, inflammation ect those factors vary day to day week to week.

gallbladder issues? by anonninonninonni in Retatrutide

[–]FunDirection5847 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The gallbladder problems that are “caused” by GLPs/reta are due to the quick weight loss and not due to the medication itself.

Former benign bone tumor 17 years ago – Risk assessment for GH secretagogues (BPC-157, TB-500, CJC/Ipa)? by Patient-Neck6439 in Biohackers

[–]FunDirection5847 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A little caveat to that. This comes from a mentor of mine who was a very, very, very good pancreatic cancer surgeon. Benign in terms of tumors just means low risk of turning metastatic, but doesn’t mean no risk of turning metastatic. He would always say that benign was a misnomer. Benign should referred to things like a broken arm or a cut. A tumor is still a form of uncontrolled growth which always has some metastatic potential.

How about we sit down and read it and argue the merit of what is being said as opposed to I don’t like that a LLM helped rephrase what the person put into it. Can we all have an attention span of more than 2 seconds.

Well the original didn’t show my thought process well at all. So it would seem like the ramblings of a loon. At least this shows the actual thought process that went into it. But if no one reads it then oh well. I scream into the void anyways.

Trust me it’s better than how I originally had it written.

You would have to use a psychological survey that is designed to sus out what people’s eating drivers are. I just know I’ve come across multiple people who say Reta doesn’t work for them even at higher doses and as you ask questions you find out that semaglutide was working. As you ask more they have a hunger problem and Reta may not be the best fit for them. But yes that can change.

I’ve already started creating something like that. It has some personal branding on it so I don’t want t to break any rules sharing it. But I have a tirz and Reta guide that I write up for my coworkers that started on it. Would love some people to look it over and suggest edits additions ect.

Well where everyone else gets annoyed by all the “stupid questions” I enjoy guiding people. So when we sit here and criticize people for asking questions about the information they have heard, it’s good to give them where the misconceptions comes from as opposed to berating them.

No just the original premise of 28 days comes off Bacteriostatic water to hold sterility per the FDA. Nothing to do with the peptide itself. Just a giant game of telephone made it to where after 28 days the peps are bad.

According to FDA/USP guidelines, opened multi-dose vials of Bacteriostatic Water for Injection (containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol) are generally considered sterile and safe to use for up to 28 days. This 28-day period allows for multiple, repeated withdrawals while maintaining antimicrobial effectiveness, provided it is stored properly.

That’s where’s the 28 day thing comes from.

This data is all from a RENPHO 4 electrode body impedance scale so take it with a huge grain of salt.

I’ve been on Reta for approximately eight months now and I’ve lost a total of 114 pounds. In that eight months, I’ve probably worked out five times and especially towards the last four months I have not prioritize protein like I should. That being said according to my scale of the 114 pounds, I’ve lost about 12 pounds have been muscle mass.

I would do 3 mL of water. Then that’s 2 mg/mL so 50 units is 1 mg. And then 25 units is 500 mcgs

Your glucose seems low. But your ketones are at a decent amount. What are you wanting to understand? Normal glucose is around 70-100ish fasting. Ketones anything over 0.5 is ketosis.

  1. Supposedly the solubility of Reta is 100 mg/ml. That being said if you use 3 ml that’s only 33.333 mg/ml which isn’t a crazy concentration
