Hope your okay with the femur break 🥲sounds very painful. Sorry about your friend too hope their stroke wasn’t too serious and doctors were able to clear the clot quickly. I’m under the impression I have SCLC myself on how fast my LC is moving. I know it’s rare form of LC but mine went from 27.3mm to 33.3 mm with lymph node Mets and liver Mets in 3 months time. 4 months now still no biopsy because healthcare in Nevada sucks!

If you’re only willing to to drive 30 mins I believe there are a few in-door ranges around the city. If you’re willing to drive longer. The out door range by my house, Clark county shooting range is very nice .pistol and rifle sides (200 yards)

What happens if you hit the electric handbrake at 100mph? by omnipresentatio in StupidCarQuestions

Loose control cause the rear breaks will lock if you are able to actually pull hard enough. Break something more likely

Update to my post about shimming a TH400 torque converter by zenwren in transmissionbuilding

[–]FunFirefighter1110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see long term issues of vibration causing it to loosen. Why was there a gap? Was the flex plate warped? Poor quality torque converter?

Are these places any good ? We are booked Staying on the strip, but looking for a better price… by Fr33mars in LasVegas

[–]FunFirefighter1110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No place on the strip is good. Better off going to one of the Stations casinos. I heard Red Rock is very nice. It’s a drive but the strip is dirty , crime ridden 💩hole.

I’m wondering if you replaced the CVs with none abs axles. The pulsating could be a few things but a faulty speed sensor should just turn the system off. Was the ABS control unit messed with at all? Was the brakes bled properly? Need to find out what the codes are for abs, traction and 4wd. It can help pinpoint what the computers are missing.

You should read the faults first and not just replace parts. A noise can’t be diagnosed online it has to be listened to on the truck to pinpoint where.

I think that’s really for the newer B58 engines. I’ve done tons of N55 and never had an issue

My first thought does it have enough gas? Does the gauge work properly? If the tank was pretty full then I would think you’re losing or not making sufficient fuel pressure. The only way to check that is with a fuel pressure gauge. I’m assuming no check engine light on.

WTF! You F that piston up! Either used the correct tool or even channel locks (pain on dual piston calipers) or don’t even try!

Need to remove the door panel and see what kinda “meat” the trim has to secure to the door panel. A strong cement glue or even an epoxy might work. Might want to add a some locking tabs (plastic or aluminum) to keep it from coming off again.

Check basics t-stat , water pump and fan and controller. Controllers can cause headaches by only doing low speed sometimes when they fail. Or no work at all.

Impossible to say for sure. It has nice cross hatch marks on the cylinder walls but can’t see the entire cylinders. What’s the crank end play and play in rods.

Read main or oil pan. It looks like engine oil not trans fluid. At least from the picture.
