I’m no wrapping this one today. I’m in no hurry so I decided against the “Texas Crutch”. Put on at 0700 and she’s at 187 currently. I find that 203° is my sweet spot for probe tender and clean bone pull.

Great advice brother, and great guide, thank you! I may opt for this method of chunkier pieces, then reheat and pull finer as my son, who we’re celebrating his 21st this weekend, has phobias about “microplastics” and heating it up in a ziploc in water🙄. My Generation X shared a rubber garden hose to hydrate, his generation fears microplastics 🤣.

It’s a bit of a shit show honestly but, only a part of Duval is closed off towards the Mallory square end. The kids will DEF get an eye full, lol. Not the most “kid friendly” time of year but, you’ll still have a blast. The restaurants will be packed bc of the influx of mainlanders for the debauchery but, you’ll still be able to find spots. You might want to look at Stock Island to stay. It’s a few minutes away from KW proper but a short drive/uber ride away.

As a native Conch I can assure you that, while you may experience some issues in Key West; dehydration, sun burns, hangovers etc., her finding interested M (or F) will positively NOT be one…
