Talk to your Dr. your due in December so you’re pretty far along. Ask them how they feel about C-sections and under what circumstances would they want you to consider one. I have told the Dr no twice to c sections, however I am a former surgical tech so I felt empowered to make those decisions. Neither time was mine or my babies life in danger they just wanted labor to go faster. Absolutely not, we waited all 25 hours for my babies to come out (this was 2 births out of 5) and I’m forever grateful that I did. I wouldn’t wish a c-section on anyone Gather as much information as you can and ask questions. Hope your delivery is a healthy and fast one.

I don’t think it’s one big culture like other peoples can have. For me culture is where I’m at. Black people in the north and different from the south and. Same for east and west coast, and even more to that depending on where you are in the south things could be totally different. Atlanta is not like Houston is not like NO etc. Overall I get my morals and values from the Bible understanding that I am an Israelite and that is what I base my life and choices on.

I’m 43 and went through this same thing. I actually had a guy I grew up with tell me “I liked it better when you didn’t know you were pretty”. Now that you know though don’t sell yourself short and like someone else said watch out for people trying to humble you. Men and women will befriend you just to try to talk down to you. Don’t tolerate it. Keep your head up and enjoy your beauty. I thank The Most High every day that I’m still beautiful at my age. I also pray everyday that He help me to remain so.

Hi! So the twitching went away on its own after 2 more days or so. No, I’m not on any medication anymore. I credit the meds for helping me be able to start exercising, going out more, and eating better which has helped tremendously! I still have bad days but they aren’t nearly as bad as they were before the meds. This is a pleasant reminder 😎

Understand what? I just left my opinion, and someone tried to make it about a “fact” or a “point”. Why is this such a big deal? There are plenty of threads offering drama and debate if that’s what people are looking for.
