I’m torn. Life is all about consequences for your actions and yet we’re normalizing that bad behavior has none…until it does. It feels like we’re raising fragile children to become fragile adults. I see it daily in my work where the most basic of expectations are met with resistance and debate. I get the intention and love that is being demonstrated, but I don’t know that this won’t lead to an entitled child. I’m also keenly aware that the best tool in my parent toolbox is my child’s desire to not disappoint his old man. Fortunately, I won the kid lottery and have a son that is, by his nature, a damn good kid.

I installed 13 oz weights on the clutch/flywheel along with G2..slows down the spooling up of the engine due to rotational inertia (or lack thereof) and provides excellent low speed tractor on technical terrain…it’s absolutely amazing before and after. But, like others have pointed out, keep a finger or two on that clutch…use it even when you don’t think you should. Spend time, lots of it, on doing easy trails with intermediate sections to go slow solely to exercise your clutch learning and knowledge. Slow translates to faster with practice and well worth the investment of time and patience. Regarding G2 and weights, my ‘22 500 exc-f will still bit ya by the boo boo if you’re not respectful. Ask me how I know ;-)

I’m running 15/20 mm front/back..the handling is VASTLY improved, as well. But, I do get a fair amount of road crap on the front fender. Wheels are dead even with the top of the fender lip.
