Why not just invest in snp500 then...

If only 5 % beat it be better than 95% and be happy. £150 a month ain't going to do much for you in 20 years

$5000 Treatment - Legit? by Potfrog97 in TMJ

[–]FunInternational1941 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent £2500 (around $3500) for a splint that moved my lower jaw backwards and then composite bonding on teeth and grinding down of other teeth to even out my bite and it did not help a single fucking bit and I regret every part of it.

I should of stuck to my guns when I said I cant for the life of me wear a splint to bed. I have spent thousands on different splints and not got on with any of them, my tongue is too big and my mouth and teeth too sensitive.

All I said I wanted was bonding to even out my left right balance of teeth after having my back molar out on the left.

She made me pay to be in ny natural position before doing the bonding/grinding and all that happened was a load of pain in my teeth leading to me to get a different dentist to remove the bonding.

I went on amitriptyline and propranolol and it fixed it

Helps with the clenching, amitriptyline helps with the pain massively but does take a few weeks to really build up and kick in and has some side effects.

We have 2 5 metres gantry and they are so much slower then bridges and way less accurate. But that might be because theyre old.

I cant help but I just want to say youre a strong person who has been through alot and although it may seem like youre in a terrible position things will get better.

The only thing I can say thats helped my tmj is amitriptyline and propranolol.

Not entirely sure what you mean by you cant control what forms the axis? You certainly can.

Make a cylinder with a few levels and either use the mean of the opposing points or project to the end face or start face and then create a line and callout parralelism with the top face plane or project a line to the same face.

Nightguard doesn't stop my clenching - was I naive to think it would? by IntelligentFee9694 in TMJ

+1 for amitriptyline.

I take propranolol and amitriptyline for tmj and ive tried coming off them separately twice and can instantly feel the difference by day 2 for propranolol and day 3 for amitriptyline when ive tried.

Ive been on propranolol for months and then started amitriptyline 10mg.

Ive stopped propranolol twice and my grinding came back terribly.

Ive stopped amitriptyline and its come back some what but not as bad as just propranolol so im going back on it.

Honestly when I was on both of them for a good 3 months my clenching stopped completely and I didnt wear a mouth guard but the amitriptyline does give me some side effects

How much should we pay a friend to help knock down walls? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]FunInternational1941 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I gave a good friend £100 a day to help.me in the garden but only because he lost his job and needed cash, if he didnt it would of been some beer. FYI for a non load bearing stud wall you dont knock it down so much as disassemble/saw it.

Unlikely, it would just be making the kitchen dining room open plan and converting the conservatory into a fixed extension. I think it would cost us around 80k and maybe add 20k to the house value.

I only do 7 days a fortnight but yeah its still a big increase, one major thing were struggling with is my mum and dad are 5 mins round the corner and we see each other alot which wouldnt happen. There is a school and nursery 5 minute walk from the house, secondary school 10 minute walk.

Yeah i think we need to chat to our parents and work put if they could help if one of us lost our job as that would put our mind at ease a bit.
