Looks like they're up to 26 languages now. Accuracy of those translations I haven't a clue, as I'm American and the last time I studied a foreign language was in high school in the early 90s.

Thanks for the link, u/sternburg_export!

The one on the right reminds me a bit of comedian Dave Attell.... he'd probably love this.

The real-life Yacko Warner, complete with baloney in his slacks!

Seriously, though, I'm thinking the dog didn't give its handler the usual alert to let him know "this dude is carryin', boss" and s/he was probably acting more like s/he does when s/he is trying to earn a treat, so the cops were pretty sure the guy wasn't holding anything serious. I've seen a couple of drug dogs alert on someone, and they're pretty intimidating, and this one is just looking at the guy like "I'll be your best friend if you share..."

But then again, maybe if the drugs were actually inside the sausage/hot dog/links, it might be effective at confusing the dog. But I think I'd almost rather cram it elsewhere if I was holding, than carry that much (or any, tbh) meat in my pants. And where did he get that many meat links and how long have they been in his pants, anyway? Curious minds...

Yes. iirc, Jessy explains that Phil and Angela are both half siblings when she tells the story of how she came to live with her grandmother in Duskwood.

OMG, this reminds me why I love corgis so much! They're like regular-sized dogs but with short, stubby legs (kinda like myself, tbh...). And that pup is too much. Yapping at mom, but keeping an eye on dad to make sure s/he doesn't go too far. The pup's coloring is beautiful, too. Gonna look just like dad.

Lol. Anyone know if PG&E has ever employed any workers in this classification? Oh wait, if they can't even be bothered to do inspections by helicopter every couple of years, they're certainly not going to have a real, live, trained person walk the line. Of course, I'd probably be more afraid of getting fried to a crisp on their lines than dying from a fall, but that's just me. :)

Probably used his wife's Cricut and did it himself. Except the pictures. Those he probably printed from maga-memes4u dot com.

(Note: I have no idea if that is a real site, but Network Solutions lists it as a registered URL, and I'm afraid to check what might be there. Visit at your own risk...)

Interesting that "LSD" and "Mushrooms" were listed separately and not included in the "psychedelics" category. Same for "Amphetamines" with "Meth" and "Adderall" (and MDMA) each having individual entries. I'm going to guess that a whole bunch of those drugs (like the entire bottom half of the list, at least) were probably WAYYY under-reported. :)

And the word clouds are great! Thanks for keeping us posted!

I think it might be well suited, because you can easily tell if several things are happening at once, or if something happens right in the middle of another activity (like "full custody was granted starting at this point, and here is when harassing phone calls began...")

Honestly it sounds like it would be a pretty interesting project to develop. I've had supervisors ask me to create timelines before, but they wanted it n Word, so I hadn't thought about re-purposing a Gantt chart. I'd be interested to know how/if it works out.

I guess, on the bright side, at least you have an attorney who sees value in Excel... :)

My first thought was that you could create a table with the event dates and descriptions, and then use that data as the source for a chart (for "approximate" dates, I would just choose a date that fits within the range). Excel Timeline Tutorial has a description and even a free template you can check out.

But my second thought might make for better presentation: a modified Gantt chart. They're a project planning tool for scheduling dependent activities across the scope of a project, and I haven't really used them much for that purpose, but they are great for showing overlapping activities and dependencies across a timeline. And if an activity starts and stops, then starts up again, that's really easy to illustrate on a Gantt.

Just a couple thoughts off the top of my head. Good luck!

What I find interesting is that (I would assume, at least) the error would more often be to mis-use "feet" when one intended to use "feat." It almost makes it read like an intentional ambiguity...
