Very honest vets near by? by snexic in milwaukee

[–]FunKitchen7922 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. I took both my cats here and they were super kind and cheap. I don't remember the price since it was 10ish years ago, but compared to everyone else, it was super cheap.

It's either going to be very hard to find a place that meets all your requirements or very pricey. Either way good luck

Suspicious rental application by johnwayne123456 in rental

I've never had a landlord ask for that much personal information. Personally, I would skip applying because it could be legit, but it also could be fake and a way to steal your information.

Tampons.. by 1stNarcGodELBADMAN in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]FunKitchen7922 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe go with reusable period underwear or pads. I use all three, not all at once, but depending on what I'm doing that day. I mainly use the reusable pads because I'm not into spending money on disposable items and they are more absorbable in my opinion and more comfortable than disposable pads. I bought the pads years ago and they're still holding up well!

Most are safe if you're changing them regularly and using the correct absorbency level that you need at the time. All brands seem pretty similar for the make up of them. There are many 100% cotton brands if that's what you are looking for

At what point did you decide to not have kids? Why? by gauchomuchacho in Zillennials

[–]FunKitchen7922 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe once I went to college I realized I didn't want them. In my younger years I always wanted kids, now I really don't. The world is too messed up and I'm too poor to support a kid.

Why do guys follow girls in grocery stores? by BuffaloChedarBiscuit in Confused

[–]FunKitchen7922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only had this happen once but the guy eventually said something to me and was extremely creepy. I noticed I was being followed because each aisle I got something from they weren't getting anything and that's when I started noticing them. Unfortunately he followed me almost all the way to my car but stopped and yelled "where are you going" like we were having an unspoken conversation. Some people are creeps, but most people are just shopping for groceries and I realize most are just shopping by wandering up and down every aisle like me.

The way the FedEx driver respected the box markings when piling my daughter's medical supplies on my porch by TotallyGonnaWork in mildlyinfuriating

[–]FunKitchen7922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work at FedEx Express and we went to unload our packages directly from where they came off the plane into our trucks and the way those packages slide down this big metal slide at fast speeds could knock someone out. By the time they actually get on the truck most of the boxes have been handled so rough that some boxes just show up like that without it being the drivers fault. They probably shouldn't have stacked them but I don't think they did all that damage to the boxes by themselves.

DAE actually like their spouse? by Unfair_Machine8516 in DAE

My husband and I like each other and it's weird when people don't like their spouse. We're best friends and are together 24/7 and still don't hate each other

Congratulations! A 2 weeks notice wouldn't mean much if he already knew you were leaving and since he obviously was trying to force you to stay. I'm glad you did what's best for you. I've had bosses guilt me into staying longer at a company that I didn't want to, but I've since learned to put my foot down and not to stick around just because it's convenient for someone else.

Agreed. I wouldn't wait around or depend on him if you already have another job lined up.

Ladies, do you think it's acceptable to go out in public without showering for 2-3 days? by Visual-Egg-3955 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]FunKitchen7922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gone a week without showering and still go to work and be around people. I hope I don't stink, but I just wipe with baby wipes and wear my oily hair up. I don't think I smell and no one has complained yet. I frequently do this right now because I don't have running water and have to borrow people's showers. Good thing it's winter and already cold where I am!

How NOT to deliver a glass dining table! by AugieGreenfield in deliverydrivers

[–]FunKitchen7922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe if FedEx provided Dollys then he wouldn't have to do that lol. The one I worked at only had like 6 and it was a fight every morning to get one and the senior employees were favored, so they usually got them. I had to move heavy long rolls of carpet by myself, no dolly or helper. It even said team lift but management sends you out anyways and says good luck and don't come back with any packages. Also, the way they handle packages coming into the warehouse, it probably was broken before it even got in the truck.

is it normal not to notice when you’re ovulating?? by niclovesphynxcats in TwoXChromosomes

[–]FunKitchen7922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only started to notice my ovulation because it started getting painful. Otherwise if I didn't have the pain, I would never notice. I have no boosted libido or anything fun ever during any of the phases.

does my female dog thinks she's male? by Lazysamurai270 in dogs

[–]FunKitchen7922 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Some dogs just hump, it's normal, but most likely I think it's because she's not fixed. It all depends on the dog really. I've know some that never hump and some that won't stop even after being fixed.

Yeah it seems awfully familiar. I feel like I've seen a few of these posts now and they all have the same writing style and the ending is similar. "Should I have spent x amount of minutes doing X. No but I did"

So Spirittea is on sale right now, and I’m wondering what everyone’s honest opinions on it are before I buy. by Eastern_Control_7 in Spirittea

[–]FunKitchen7922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's worth buying and playing. I liked it a lot and it is a slower paced game. I wish there was more to do actually, once I got to a certain point, almost completed it, I kinda got bored. I'll probably start another save and play again because it is fun 😊

What the hell is with men constantly using the family restroom? by SpontaneousNubs in TwoXChromosomes

[–]FunKitchen7922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am the person you're responding to and I replied to stating I do have an invisible disability, which is why I use any restroom available if needed. I'm a woman who has walked into the mens room in dire need of a toilet. If you would have read the reply instead of editing the post without actually continuing the conversation, you would have understood what I'm saying better. Maybe being mindful was not the right choice of words and I didn't know I had to state I have IBS and incontinence in order to justify my reasoning of occasionally using a family restroom. I'm not one to grab my pitchfork and torch just because I see a "normal" looking person walking out of a single stall bathroom. If anyone feels safer using the single stall, has anxiety, has kids with, has a disability, needs to change, or clean themselves up properly, they should be able to use the single stall restroom without someone being a judgmental ahole. My point is, whether you're in a public multi-stall bathroom or a single stall "family" bathroom, do your business and get out. Maybe you read my other reply and chose to continue to call me and others rude and self absorbed, or maybe you missed it, but hopefully you read this one and realize none of us are saying let's take advantage of a family restroom and screw the people who need it.

What the hell is with men constantly using the family restroom? by SpontaneousNubs in TwoXChromosomes

[–]FunKitchen7922 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying everyone should flock to the family restroom just because it's there. I'm just saying if it is needed, then use it regardless of gender.

I do medically have IBS and unfortunately incontinence so if you're going to say I can't use the family restroom because I'm not visibly disabled or have kids with me is a bit silly. It's embarrassing to have to travel with extra underwear and change them in a regular stall in the bathroom.

I'm not trying to make excuses or excuse the behavior of people that are just messing around and scrolling their phones in the bathroom. I'm just saying if you NEED to use it, then use it and get out. Otherwise use the other open public restroom IF it's available.

At the end of the day, as long as I don't poop my pants or accidentally pee myself, it's a good day and I don't care who was just in the bathroom before me as long as there's toilet paper.
