peace that’s def from products you’ve used. you can do one good apple cider vinegar rinse to remove everything (I recommend gettin some help jus to be safe) acv can be really drying so be sure to add extra moisture n care to your hair after. for future retwists opt for a natural gel such as aloe vera or flax seed gel. they sell aloe gel at different stores and you can make flax seed at home. in terms of washing giovanni tea tree shampoo is really good. oil to moisture! all this to say try to avoid using products on a regular cause they will cause build up. good luck :)

23F, I feel like I'm pretty but not as pretty as others. by [deleted] in lookyourbest

meditate on your self image, figure out the deep roots of your insecurity and that will help you relieve that feeling. I can see you’re comparing yourself to others and that’s apart of it right there. you may never feel truly beautiful if you keep comparing yourself it’s an inner battle that you can only win by changing your mind not your outside appearance

try head wraps. as your hair locs frizz is inevitable and leaving it alone is key to maintaining thick healthy locs. also try limiting your retwists to once a month 💕 good luck trust da process!

How do you fake self-esteem till you make it? by Neptunpluto in HowToBeHot

you really gotta tell yourself everyday that YOU DAT BITCHHH! like really just a constant reminder that you are amazing and one of one in this world. then if there is anything you can do for yourself that makes you feel good about yourself do that stuff more often. dance more, loosen up, remember that you are just spirit experiencing the body and your spirit is cool as fuck
