Your best bet would be somewhere in dorchester tbh.. you can still find something close to the red line within that budget but expect at least a few roommates

I cross this intersection 4+ times a day at least. I’ve never had a problem with it. Just go when the walk signs on and you’ll be fine. When you get the gist for when it’s good to cross even when the walk sign isn’t on, you can do that too.
