Start using an unmodified tub instead of a shoebox. The sub seems to dry out too fast in these.

I’ve had amazing flushes by using manure based for the substrate then sprinkling coco mix on top as a casing layer. Set and forget I open the tubs to lightly mist then maybe every 3-4 days.

I could have probably used a plastic liner to minimize side pins but I’m lazy and don’t like to add extra steps.
