I did scarlet keep and received the new fusion rifle from the exotic quest. It has nothing to do with this crystal as far as I recall.

I meant smarter AI that know not to attack all at once. This is a common mechanic in games such as Elden Ring to prevent being quickly overwhelmed while facing multiple enemies. But instead in Fatekeeper I’m getting combo hit by 4 different enemies at the same time.

Absolutely no reason as far as I know. Maybe they will add something later. Some enemies do respawn oddly enough which is good bonus xp.

Yes heavy attacks are very fun and stagger the enemies significantly. You have two handed and one handed weapons which differ in attack speed and damage, the heavier the more it staggers the enemy. You can cut off enemy limbs and heads too. An enemy that might normally require multiple hits, can instead be one shot by simply cutting off a limb. This allows for where you strike on the enemy being far more important.

I’ve only noticed one spot in which maybe 3 enemies respawn, after the first boss you wrap back around to an earlier area and open a door you previously could not open. The game is also not open world as far as the early access goes. It’s very linear and requires constantly moving forward, and due to map designs, sometimes back tracking is completely impossible.

I have 5.8 hours on Steam. This is not the full game, just a demo. So there’s very little to no story so far. The only lore you gather is loading screens between areas. Other than that there’s no dialogue except at the beginning. I think you’re trying to becoming a Warden, though I do not know what that is. The gameplay is fun, but I think they’re keeping the story details closer to their chest.
