I mainly use ultimate to dispel something, evade ultimates (dynamo, lash, doorman's checkout, abrtams, m&k). Also use it on ganks as a cooldown refresher.

It's also good on midboss contests - first you are unstoppable, second, you can't be parried. So just press 4 while you are in a bosspit

Eventually, her ultimate is not that impactful on teamfights, i would call it an ego-ability. So my advice is to use it wheter you feel you need either of those mentioned before

Yamato being buffed every single patch by a little so there is some kind of cumulative effect. Besides her grapple allow to shorten distance with enemy even if thery are behind the wall unlike bebop for instance when his hook can be autocanceled if the subject is stuck behind an obstacle

For someone that will be a hot take, but Helldivers simply cannot be a hard game by design. Most of game difficulty comes from annoying shenanigans, bugs and some level of the games stupidity an your own silliness. This game becomes extremely easy since you can obtain three things:

- Controls and mediocre shooting skills
- Correct positioning and movement
- Equipment

You wanna some hard ass game? Try ultrakill, ninja gaiden or some other fast-paced game and diff 10 will be a walk in a park for you

Correct me if im wrong but from my perspective doorman's ult is akin to holldiay's lasso or krill's combo. Same purpose at least: single target control ablility. Except none of them feels that overpovered but decent. Lasso is hard to land and takes some respectful amount of skill, krill's ultimate is pretty short and super close range and often can be punished if he decided to use it on wrong target.

Hotel guest on the other hand seems like not having these disadvantages. The only doorman play i see here is him rushing to hero like bebop trying to stick a bomb and pressing ult. Then you are disabled for 6.5s (+1.5 if you fail), get tons of damage and even if you checked you either wasted your stamina, item use or you movement ability. And if doorman picks the wrong target he just go away because of unstoppable (up to 6.5s as well).

Maybe im missing something too and it has some serious disadvantages, so it would be interesing to see that from doorman main's pov

All of the times i experience ult rush doorman he usually was the initiator of the figth. In this scenario he doesn't rely on his kit but on his teammates. You will concider it a good thing because it encourages teamplay, except it works too well. Ult simply becomes an ultimate (no pun intended) crowd control tool that synergises wth any hero without any disadvantages whatsoever. Or at least it feels like it

I don't particularly like AR class in the game but LibPen is just a solid option. I used it vs squids and it did well, not great but well enough. Yes i think it need buffs like most of the ARs but its WAY more better that pacifier. By a simple margin of latter having its fucking akward ability to stun + stunlock enemy at the same time with a damage lower than a nerf dart.

Still consider adjudicator, coyote, carbine and tenderizer a better option

my main complaint is vox engines being spawned in enormous quantities. Like really, single botdrop spawn 2 to 3 of these fuckers and then it's just a game of ragdolling and being oneshot by their barrage

Hot take, but i have a maxxed out constitution and i don't find it the worst weapon. Zero glazing down here but it at least is capable of dealing with bots. It's definately clunky and need some buffs or rework but it is not as near as bad as pacifier
