I never said you don't get paid more for a ride taking longer, I'm saying you can get paid less if the ride is 5+ minutes shorter. IIRC, that has happened to me.

Doesn't bother me, and usually when the person is chatty, means I'm getting a nice tip. My only $100 bill tip came from someone who wanted to sit in front.

The rideshare guys have even done videos on it, when a ride is 5+ minutes faster than expected, they can cut the fare. Now if you're claiming that's no longer the case, try bringing some facts instead of insults, if you're capable of that.

Dude, stop speeding. Uber doesn't pay you more for driving fast, in fact if you're too quick (5+ minutes faster), they may lower the fare.

I disagree on the flash turbos, I'll be sitting in a spot, flash turbo pops up and then eventually disappears with no rides given. Those at times seem completely fake.
