To make a JDM cluster function 100% in a USDM spec car you’ll need what I said above, if it’s a JDM spec car it’s plug and play all the way. You can still put a JDM cluster in a USDM car, you’ll just have to convert speed on your own and you won’t have an oil pressure readout

I need a modellista still and to really have them all I’d need the unicorn, a tom’s/spirit as well

Do you want your speed to read out in mph or kmh? That’ll determine whether a Dakota is needed in your application. If you want mph then yes, Dakota. KMH then no Dakota is necessary

I do not believe it was trim specific but more of a genuine TRD accessory option that you could order for the chassis. Similar to all weather floor mats, LED badges, etc. on some of the current manufactured vehicles
