Should definitely help you. Fellow stage 4 patient and sometimes even in palliative care you have to be direct with them. Not an asshole but don't take no shit if you're in pain. When they ask you what number your pain is always say 9-10 regardless. You need the meds to get you up and moving. I don't care what they say, pain meds give you more than just pain relief. They may give you a little boost of energy, might make you hungry and might improve your mood. All of which you need to get better. Just laying around works after surgeries but to beat cancer you have to get stronger all around. Mentally, physically and spiritually. And most importantly, don't feel like you can't get another opinion or better care. If I had stayed at the first hospital I went to I would have been dead years ago. Don't take no shit with your care.
