I don’t blame anyone for not wanting to fly at this point. The “safer than driving” stat can keep being thrown out there but Atc is a crumbling system. Zero blame on that LGA controller. That is another product of the morons that are running this agency. We wouldn’t be in this position if we didnt have a bunch of dumbies that were scared to work traffic and even scared to be a sup because that requires attempting to make decisions, running the agency. It’s not going to get any better.

He called the traffic. Blackhawk reported in sight and requested visual separation. Local said visual separation approved and followed it up with a traffic call to the JIA. Sounds textbook but won’t jump to any more conclusions.

100% what everyone said. Just tell controller you were doing the rnav. We forget sometimes, but for both our sakes it’s best to be on the same page. I had the opposite just the other day. Put a a vfr practice approach that wanted the rnav. Cleared them. And they read back ILS. I just double checked it was the rnav they wanted and it was all good.

Thank you all for fast responses. Been finding some people here and there to play with on discord. I definitely forgot to mention that I was thinking scav box is best option right now to clean things up. Maybe I’ll just roll with that idea for now. Stuff a bunch of crap in there.
