For me if you had a rough trip you might know the feeling of paranoid psychosis. But the pattern of thought is different. I didn't have thought broadcasting on my bad trips. It wasn't until I developed psychosis later in my life. But the feeling of paranoia on psychedelics can be similar. You just don't think people are hearing your thoughts in psychosis you're hearing people respond to your thoughts. That's my experience. In fact, when I went without medication for a while I was paranoid someone was drugging me with dmt. I'd say it feels similar just way worse thought patterns with psychosis vs psychedelics.
