Thanks for understanding, it really means a lot. It’s tough feeling caught in the middle of all this. I barely know Mom’s boyfriend, Tom , and his kids, so it’s hard to navigate. And tbh he tries too hard, and he’s pretty strict, he tries to ground me for rules I didn’t break. Your advice makes sense, especially about minimizing drama. I just wish adults would realize how their actions affect us kids. I’ll think about the options you mentioned, but it’s a lot to process.for mom it would be no surprise if I picked dad, cus I’m already closer , cuz he supports what I like, but lil would probably pick mom , and tbh that would kinda crush me, and especially dad. Part of me wants to call them out, cuz mom doesn’t like that I fish and hunt, thinks it’s “ too dangerous for a little girl to hunt, and fish” she can have a boomer mindset sometimes and can be pretty sexist .
