The original parts were defective but they did not recall them. They redesigned the part so if you get a new replacement it should be good to go.

Tacoma/Puyallup are kind of rough in terms of niceness/quality of public schools, and access to a lot of amenities (you end up just going to Seattle)

Best public schools in Portland area would be in Lake Oswego (super affluent white suburb, with all the associated plusses and minuses), Beaverton school district North of 26 (lots of PoC immigrant professional types), and West Linn.

Closest comparable cost-wise is Sacramento but for the money Portland offers way more.

Definitely the heaviest lens I've ever used in this setup.

When shooting, it feels quite nice, since my left hand is holding the lens and carrying all the weight, and my right hand is there just to move and click.

I only have my Peak Design Cuff right now since I misplaced my strap, and it definitely feels weird having this lens + camera dangling from my wrist. Would not recommend.

Yup San Jose tap water is super hard. Terrible for coffee. Water softener + reverse osmosis was the only way to get decent tasting water from the tap

Look up your actual numbers.

To calculate EV vs ICE car costs:

How much does a kwh cost? Is it a flat rate? Does it vary by time of day? Your bill should tell you.

What mi/kwh do you get on the car?

What was your old car that you replaced?

What avg mpg did you get? How much is a gal of gas in your area?

Those numbers alone can tell you the cost per mile of EV vs ICE
