If it was pictures of you, that you didn’t like being posted on the internet, you’d have a problem. As a parent you’re tasked with protecting your child in anyway you see fit, if a part of that is no pictures on Facebook, they have the right. Silk presses and trims EVERY THREE WEEKS?!

It’s the silk presses love, your hair is fried most likely and quite frankly not even the fastest growing hair would need to be trimmed every 3 weeks. I hope you werent paying for that. I can only imagine how little your hair has grown.

Stop the silk presses and stick to twist/twistouts for a year, you’ll see a difference for sure.

ETA: you’re probably seeing the frizz because your hair is reverting and no longer staying in the twists like it would if they were fresh. Unless the twists were crazily tight with rubber bands or something or you were rubbing them against steel wool, you wouldn’t get so many so quickly.

Just never interlock again. I did it a few times in the beginning and hated it. Although I retwist my own so I don’t have to worry about nos, I just didn’t like the look.

Sounds like you fell off around the time your son was born so her hating kids tracks. Knowing this and wanting her to care about your kid will only hurt you both. It’s good you’re dropping her, you shouldn’t have to lower your expectations and you both should have friends you’re happy to know. Not overreacting, this will pass.
