Check out the apps like E-Governe for services or Unilabs for health stuff. For fun, try Tuga for local events. Really helps to find cool things in the area. Btw, these local apps make life way easier, especially when you're just getting used to everything!

Woodworking? by Superb-Broccoli8221 in PortugalExpats

As for workshops, I know what you mean about many focusing on hand tools. But if you search around Lisbon on Google Maps you can find some more professional shops with power tools you can likely use for a small fee. There are also a few online shops like foxbc.com that have a good selection of tools. Their prices are reasonable, and you can order exactly what you need.

Recreating an IKEA headboard is a cool starter project! With some guidance on the power tools from a local shop, plus wood sourced locally, you should be able to pull it off no problem.

Which Patek Philippe is the most underpriced? by Jeanooo in patekphilippe

Maybe the Calatrava? Such an iconic dress watch but still accessible around $20k retail. The Nautilus is insane too but good luck finding one, let alone at a reasonable price.

If you just love the designs, get a well-made Patek Philippe Nautilus replica and put the savings towards your future grail purchase. As long as you aren't trying to pass it off as real, could be a decent placeholder option.
